Where Healing Begins…
We offer private and group sessions at Aegean Med Spa, as well as exclusive retreats. Each of these integrates scientific approaches to optimize your lifestyle for healthy relationships, connection, and joy.
The First Loved Story
At First Loved Studio we implement an integrative approach to healing by addressing the entire person, mind, body, and spirit. This focus is what we term “wholy” healing. From that foundation, we come together with our clients and other professionals to build an individualized, “wholy” healing program using a variety of modalities.
These programs typically incorporate healthy breathing practices, relaxation techniques, somatic movement, proper body alignment, healing touch bodywork plus strengthening and stretching. Additionally, we offer an option to incorporate personal growth and spiritual practices, such as Christian prayer, meditation, and mentoring into your sessions.
“Wholy” healing is an empowering approach to developing a healthy lifestyle. All sessions are uniquely tailored to meet the client’s goals and accommodate their comfort and skill levels.

The Road Thus Far – Studio Director, Sarah Tellis
Sometimes in life, we are brought to a place of crisis in order to reveal deeper issues that have been hidden. It was just such a crisis that spurred my exploration into holistic healing.
It began with a “shake-up call” born from the beginning signs of a mental/physical burnout. For too long I tried to juggle the countless duties and commitments of being a wife and mother while simultaneously developing and leading an international anti-human trafficking nonprofit, True Justice International (TJI). Somewhere along the way, the everyday stress (even the good stress surrounding much success) and pressures solidified into anxiety.
After returning home from two international speaking trips, I discovered that this anxiety had quickly morphed into full-blown panic attacks. I was in disbelief at first, as my conscious mind still could not grasp/recognize/acknowledge the danger that my body had already registered and was manifesting with brutal clarity.
I knew I had to step back from leading TJI for a season. If I were to remain effective and mentally focused in that position as well as in my role as wife and mother, I had to return to a place of emotional balance/stability and physical vitality.
I began treating my anxiety with Lexapro and committed to being consistent with Holy Yoga classes. Those classes created a healing space for God to nurture His deep, restorative peace throughout my whole being. After a year I was able to wean myself off the Lexapro. My only “medicine” was now on a mat. This transformative journey inspired me to become a yoga instructor (RYS 200) and complete my therapist certification through the Holy Yoga program.
Since then, God has woven together my medical and nonprofit backgrounds to serve a wide variety of clients with an approach that is both unique and adaptable. My sessions incorporate my occupational therapy experience/degree, my expertise in working with trauma survivors, and my training in Yogalattes—a combo of yoga and Pilates—along with yoga therapy. This integrative methodology is encompassed by a faith-filled philosophy toward movement, body alignment, therapeutic touch, and God-centered meditation. My passion is to help clients find healing for body, mind, and spirit that is both whole and holy. It is “wholy healing”.
Inspired by the biblical truth that “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19), I offer my therapeutic practice, First Loved Studio, with an open and grateful heart. May it afford a private, safe, and welcoming environment for people of every background, ethnicity, religion, and physical condition/activity level.
Remember, knowing you are “first loved” is the foundation of all true healing.
